On June 16th, TIA embarked on a field trip to Vaughan, Ontario to spend the day at Canada’s Wonderland. Wonderland is the largest theme park in the country, with seventeen rollercoasters, dozens of rides, games, and food vendors. TIA students and staff were picked up by the school bus from the Mississauga campus at 11:00am, and students were free to enjoy the amusement park.
All the students were very excited to try out all the amazing rides. It was a beautiful, sunny day with cool winds and clear skies. The lines to the rollercoasters were short, which was great! Some students enjoyed the new Yukon Gold rollercoaster, which is the tallest, fastest, and longest dive coaster in the world. Students were dropped back to the school by the school bus at 6:00 pm.
Everyone had a blast! We look forward to coming back to Wonderland soon!
