TIA held itโs 2023 Graduation ceremony. The event ceremony, dinner, dance, and games were held at the Maple Banquet Hall. Students were gowned in their graduation regalia, and received their diploma and their awards. We had a grand celebration this year. Our graduates and their parents were excited and enthusiastic about the in-person celebration. Proud parents came from overseas from Korea, Vietnam, China and India to participate and witness their children graduate!
We had a congratulationโs speech by Principal Martin Melkoumian, followed by our two TIA Valedictorians, Timur Kuzmin and Scarlett Nguyen, gave advice to their younger peers, discussed their memories at TIA, and made everyone laugh and cry. This year the 2023 Best Teacherโs award was presented to Ms. Rachel Nguyen for her exceptional work and dedication to our TIA studentsโ success.
The ceremony also included an encouraging speech with inspiring words by Frank Fang, a local businessman as well as a Federal and Municipal electoral candidate. We thank you for generously donating sanitizers giveaways for the event.
We would like to thank the parents that flew in to attend this momentous occasion. We were very grateful to our all our sponsors Mr. and Mrs. Abbasi, JF insurance, Daan Go desserts and Subway. We would also like to congratulate our students and commend their hard work and perseverance.
Thank you to our staff and volunteers for all of the preparation and decorating. We hope that this fun and eventful night kicked off a new chapter in our bright future together.
